Praloy Chowdhury, A 9th Batch  Marketing department student from Comilla University from Bangladesh, has been suffering  from liver disease for a long time. On May 8 and June 14,. he was admitted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at hospitals in Dhaka and Kolkata due to Hepatic Encephalopathy.

Doctors said the patient will have to go for a liver transplant, which is currently not possible in Bangladesh. Currently he is undergoing treatment at Gleneagles Global Health City at Chennai, India.
Specialists have recommended for an immediate liver transplant for him within next two or three weeks, which could cost around $65000, said the press release and hospital details. As the family is unable to bear the cost alone, they have asked for people to come forward and help them with contributions for Praloy's treatment.
